The mission of the NEO Skating Academy is to be a leader in advancing participation, education and excellence in skating for people of all ages, abilities, and means. The NEO Academy marks the transition from skater to figure skater and teaches athletes of all ages the skills they need to make the most of their figure skating journey. The programming offered through the Academy offers skaters an affordable, comprehensive package program in a safe and supportive group training environment. Skaters will learn proper skill development and training techniques while sampling different skating opportunities and fine-tuning their fundamental skating skills.
Academy classes are open to all skaters that have a current US Figure Skating Basic Skills Membership and have successfully completed either Basic 5 or have passed an advanced Adult level of the Learn to Skate.
This program will run for 4 weeks. Skaters have the choice of choosing one or two days a week.
One day a week: $240

On Ice Curriculum will consist of jumps, spins, edges and turns. We will also introduce different skating disciplines such as Ice Dance, Theatre On Ice, Artistry In Motion and Synchronized Skating.
Off Ice Curriculum will consist of the National Dynamic Warmup, off- ice movement and dance, stretching. Off- ice jumping and spinning techniques.
Mondays: (5:30-7:20 PM) April 3, 10, 17, 24
Saturdays: (11:30 AM-1:20 PM) April 1, 8, 15, 22

The rink reserves the right to cancel or consolidate any class.
No make-up classes will be scheduled in the event of inclement weather or mechanical issues.
ALL PARTICIPANTS in our program must have a Basic Skills Number with Learn to Skate USA prior to registering with our program. You will not be allowed to participate until a membership is purchased. Current members must renew their membership starting July 1, 2022. The cost is $16 plus fees.
